VEPR-Working Paper Series Print E-mail

The VEPR Working Paper Series (VEPR-WP) has officially been launched by the Vietnam Center Economic and Policy Research since August 2009. This is a new archive of economic working papers dedicated to Vietnamese economic researchers. The archive is hosted at www.vepr.org.vn.

The VEPR-WP archives aims at disseminating research findings and promoting scholarly exchanges, as a result, to promote cooperation among and improve research quality for Vietnamese economic researchers.

The VEPR-WP is edited and supported by the VEPR Editorial Board whose members are well-known international Vietnamese economists and researchers. Every working paper will be peer reviewed and edited, with the notification and acceptance of the author(s), before being posted.

Announcement of changing name and logo from CEPR to VEPR Print E-mail

[Oct 29, 2009] After more than one year of establishment, the Center for Economic and Policy Research has successfully positioned its brand name of CEPR as an independent economic research institution with a modern and effective approach in economic and policy research. Besides affirming the voice in economic and policy discussions in Vietnam, CEPR has actively widened the international cooperation activities with international research institutions and sponsors.

To avoid being confused with some research institutions and networks in the same field which have the same abbreviation, e.g. in the UK (www.cepr.org) and in the United States (www.cepr.net), since November 1st 2009, the Center for Economic and Policy Research will officially change the name and logo to VEPR, which stands for Vietnam Center for Economic and Policy Research. The old domain and email addresses of CEPR will be changed accordingly to vepr.org.vn. Since November 1st 2009, all correspondences with the domain of cepr.org.vn will be automatically forwarded to the address of vepr.org.vn.

The Center for Economic and Policy Research respectfully announces this to all colleagues and friends. We hope to continue receiving your support for a strong development in the future.
