On 24 Oct 2008, Dr Nguyen Duc Thanh, Director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR) and representatives from the research group including Nguyen Duc Thanh, Bui Trinh, Dao Nguyen Thang and Nguyen Ngoc Tan, presented the results of their research on "Effects of increases in electricity prices on household expenditure and economy as a whole" at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), 53 Nguyen Du, Hoan Kiem Dist, Hanoi.

The presentation received much participation from researchers, policy makers and representatives from media organizations with enthusiastic and constructive discussions. The content of the presentation had been published in many Vietnamese newspapers.
