[Dec 2nd 2009] On November 27^th, 2009, the Vietnam Centre for Economic and Policy Research signed a consulting contract with the Research Center for Petroleum Economics and Management to conduct 02 activities: consulting services for “Analyzing the position of the oil and gas industry in Vietnam’s economy during the period of 2005 – 2010 and forecasting through 2025,” and holding a seminar on “Basic concepts of macro statistics”.

The activity “Analyzing the position of the oil and gas industry in Vietnam’s economy during the period of 2005 – 2010 and forecasting until 2025” includes 3 parts: (i) Providing overview of the world and Vietnam’s economy during the period of 2005 – 2010, and forecasting trough 2025; (ii) Analyzing the position of the oil and gas industry in Vietnam’s economy during the period of 2005 – 2010 and (iii) Forecasting the position of the oil and gas industry in the Vietnam’s economy through 2025.

The work will be completed at the end of December 2009.
